Learn Christmas crafts at Avonpark Retirement Village

News posted

8th November 2012

THIS Christmas could be the one you send home made cards to your loved ones and deck your halls with hand made wreaths and flowers, thanks to Avonpark Retirement Village.

The village is hosting a Christmas craft event with the chance for guests to try their hand at making cards, flowers and festive wreaths.

Experts from local businesses Wendy Makes Roses and Neston Florists will be giving demonstrations and providing the materials while the village’s own activities organiser Caz Edwards will be showing techniques for making personalised Christmas cards.

The event, which is free to attend, is taking place at Avonpark Village in Winsley Hill, near Bath on Wednesday 21st November from 10am. Refreshments will be served and there will be the chance to meet some of the residents of Avionpark Village and to take a look at the facilities on offer.
