Elmbridge Retirement Village to host local history talk

An invitation to join the residents at Elmbridge Retirement Village for an afternoon of history and heritage is being extended to local people.
Cranleigh History Society chairman Michael Miller will be discussing the history of Elmbridge Village, formerly an army training camp and then boarding school, and its connection to the Cranleigh area.
The event is set to take place at the village, on Elmbridge Road, Cranleigh, onWednesday 7th November at 1pm and will be followed by afternoon tea and the opportunity to look around the village and the properties for sale.
