Christmas in a retirement village!

16th December 2015

Christmas has most definitely arrived at our retirement villages.

The Christmas lights have been officially switched on, and mince pies, mulled wine and carols are the order of the day.

At Moat Park, Essex, the newly-formed village choir and local harpist provided the very festive entertainment at the Christmas launch event while at our Elmbridge Village in Cranleigh, pupils from the local Rikkyo School performed carols in English and Japanese.

The entrance corridor at our magnificent Cawston House at Lime Tree Village, Warwickshire, is adorned in red and gold decorations with a giant Christmas tree standing proud to welcome visitors.

Residents at Cedars Village in Hertfordshire had a chance to buy Christmas presents in the comfort of their own Cedars’ Mansion when the Little Fox Indoor Market paid a visit – everything from handmade jewellery to childrens’ toys and knitwear, were for sale.

The coming weeks will undoubtedly be full of festive cheer at all of our villages. If you’d like to pay us a visit, please check the Christmas opening times of your chosen village.

We would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year from everyone at Retirement Villages.
