Cedars Village, the area’s dedicated retirement community for people aged 60 and over, is opening its doors to the public this month.

Anyone mystified by what life in a retirement village actually means should head to the village off Dog Kennel Lane, on the edge of Chorleywood, on Tuesday May 13th when the village is hosting an Open Afternoon.

From 1.30-3.30pm visitors will be invited to stroll the grounds, take a peek inside the Edwardian Mansion at the heart of the village, and also chat with residents over a cup of tea.

The Open Afternoon has been organised for anyone with an interest in this lifestyle, now or in the future. Places must be booked in advance, to help with catering. To book your place, contact Cedars Village’s head office: 0845 5211857
