Lockdown activities in retirement village

There’s no denying COVID has impacted us all, in a wide variety of ways.

For many of us it’s been tough to cope with not being able to see family and friends, remaining indoors and also having to navigate social distancing when out and about.

Being told to keep our distance and reduce the amount of time we spend socialising can, for many, be incredibly difficult to adjust to.

That’s where secure community living can be a fantastic support. Residents, across all of our communities have been largely protected from the threat of feeling isolated and lonely during lockdown. We’ve been to visit a selection of villages recently to get a sense of how our residents have been feeling over the past few months. For many it really has been more about thriving than merely surviving.

If you’d like to find out more about what our retirement communities can offer you, then please do get in touch. We have plenty of ways in which you can contact us, either speak directly to one of our sales team, request a brochure through our website or even chat with us now through Live Chat online. We are also offering, socially distanced village visits so you can come and get a feel for life at one of vibrant communities.

If you’d like to speak with someone in person then feel free to call us on 01372 383950.
Alternatively you can email us info@retirementvillages.co.uk or fill in our online form.

Retirement village living means so much more than simply moving to a new home. It opens up the potential to truly maximise the years ahead – and live life to the full! While the bricks and mortar are one thing, it’s the sense of community, friendships and social life that emerge which are the real benefits for many who choose one of our 16 villages. Set in some of the UK’s most sought-after locations, all with their own exclusive facilities and stunning grounds, you can opt to purchase, rent or even part own your very own slice of village life.
