Residents who live independently at Roseland Parc can enjoy the peace of mind which comes from having a 24 hour emergency service, providing cover for medical emergencies. Each property is fitted with an alarm call system.

A qualified member of staff is on duty at the village to provide advice on health matters, liaise with families if and when appropriate and to look after the well-being of residents. They are also able to help arrange additional personal nursing or domiciliary care services if required, through RV Care  

Specialist teams at Roseland Parc work alongside local professionals to offer every level of care and support to residents, enabling them to live a life of optimum independence.

A number of the apartments at Roseland Parc offer fully serviced living. This is sometimes known as close care or supported living and other people refer to it as assisted living. In essence it offers the kind of lifestyle you would expect should you choose to live in a hotel. Meals cooked in the village’s kitchen by the team of chefs are provided; domestic cleaning is undertaken; personal clothing and bed linen is laundered; staff are on hand to make life that ittle bit easier, for example by organising a newspaper delivery or booking taxis; and there is 24 hour emergency help. Residents choosing this living option retain their privacy and independence and, because they buy their retirement property at Roseland Parc, they enjoy the benefits of home ownership.

Roseland Nursing Home is a purpose built care home with 36 single en suite bedrooms offering round the clock nursing care tailored to the individual requirements of each resident. The care home has been beautifully designed to not only give residents every level of comfort and support but to allow staff the optimum surroundings to provide first rate care. 

The nursing home is staffed by nurses, care and support staff overseen by an experienced manager. They work in conjunction with other professionals from the wider community to ensure the need of every resident is fully met. Bespoke care plans are produced for every resident, in association with care professionals and family where appropriate, and reviewed regularly and as needs change.

Every bedroom is comfortably furnished with residents encouraged to bring in personal possessions to aid the sense of familiarity. The well proportioned shared spaces in the care home give residents room to socialise, entertain and join in organised activities. Every area has been thoughtfully designed to allow ease of use and access for residents, whatever their level of mobility.

The interior design is based on the latest expert thinking with colour coding, picture prompts and traditional features helping encourage a sense of familiarity and belonging for residents. Staff have undergone specialist training to ensure they are able to provide the very highest level of care that our residents deserve.

The team working at the Penlee Unit aim to build strong relationships not just with residents but with their loved ones too, as appropriate. That helps give everyone involved peace of mind and ensures lines of communication remain open. External relationships with professionals and local care and medical providers are also carefully fostered.

There is a secure outside area where residents can enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds of Roseland Parc in safety.
