There are 85 cottages, bungalows and apartments for the over 60s, clustered around Blagdon Lodge where the communal facilities can be found. With more than 20 interest and social groups, a full diary of calendar dates and regular impromptu get togethers, the Lodge is a hive of activity.

Guests are welcome to dine with residents in the restaurant. The bar, garden room and lounge also have the flexibility to be used as meeting rooms and events areas, either individually or in combination. There is a hair salon, a fitness room with exercise equipment chosen by residents and, for those who enjoy a more sedate form of exercise, a snooker room and, outside, a putting green.
