The Gardens

The Gardens is a 47 bed residential home offering a ‘home from home’ environment at the Park Place location.

The Gardens is ideal for those who wish to retain a level of independence while having the reassurance of available support. A full scale redecoration ensures the surroundings reflect the high standard of support on offer.

Private rooms and communal areas have been thoughtfully designed to provide a backdrop for residents to stamp their individuality on. Rooms are provided fully furnished, although residents are encouraged to bring treasured possessions to personalise their living space.

The communal areas in The Gardens have been well thought out to offer space that is both practical and attractive. They provide residents areas to meet, watch television, play games, join in activities and entertain guests. There is also a village salon. While staff are on hand to provide support where required, residents can live as independently as they wish and their private space is respected at all times.

The staff are key to the warm atmosphere at The Gardens. Like the residents, many are from Boston and Lincolnshire and so share a background, knowledge and community stories.

As its name suggests, The Gardens enjoys easy access to Park Place’s pretty grounds where established trees provide shade, well-tended flower beds provide colour and the village pond provides the ideal place to relax.

Elmwood House

Elmwood House has 48 bedrooms and offers round the clock nursing care tailored to the individual requirements of each resident. 

Like the rest of Park Place, Elmwood House has undergone extensive redecoration to offer residents the very best surroundings and staff the optimum conditions to provide first rate care.

Elmwood House is staffed by a team of nurses, care and support staff overseen by an experienced manager. They work in conjunction with other professionals from the wider community to ensure the need of every resident is fully met.

Every bedroom is comfortably furnished with residents encouraged to bring in personal possessions to aid the sense of familiarity. The care home has its own lounge and dining area where residents can socialise, entertain and join in organised activities. Every area has been thoughtfully designed to allow ease of use for residents, whatever their level of mobility.

There is a terrace which provides an accessible outdoor area overlooking the sweeping lawn and established gardens.

Aspen Suite

We respect the responsibility we have to give those living with dementia the very best care, support and help to ensure they feel comfortable, secure and safe. The interior design of the 11 bed Aspen Suite is based on the latest expert thinking with colour coding, picture prompts and traditional features helping residents feel a sense of familiarity and belonging. Staff have undergone specialist training to ensure they are able to provide the very highest level of care that our residents deserve.

An entire room in the Suite has been decorated in bygone style with a traditional kitchen area, flock wallpaper and war-time style ornaments. Many people with dementia have very strong memories of their youth and feel most comfortable when surrounded by objects from that time. The room is the ideal place for residents to reminisce and share their memories with other residents and staff.

The team working at the Aspen Suite aim to build strong relationships not just with residents but with their loved ones too, as appropriate. That helps give everyone involved peace of mind and ensures lines of communication remain open. External relationships with professionals and local care and medical providers are also carefully fostered.
