Retirement Villages sponsors Taunton Flower Show
Retirement Villages – owner and developer of Blagdon Village – is demonstrating its commitment to the area by sponsoring the regionally renowned Taunton Flower Show.
The company is keen to support traditional British events and Taunton Flower Show meets the criteria perfectly. In addition to providing sponsorship, Retirement Villages will be donating champagne prizes.
Taunton Flower Show is to be staged on the weekend of August 3 and 4 in the historic Vivary Park, which is just a short walk from Blagdon Village, a development of 85 privately owned properties set around a central club house, exclusively for the over 60s.
Featured will be show gardens, competitive classes, a magnificent floral marquee, craft traders, a range of garden-orientated traders as well as a central events arena.
Retirement Villages is sponsoring Division Five - open to co-operative entries, and Division Six – Arts, Crafts and Cookery.
“We are delighted to be sponsoring such an important event in the local calendar,” said Sarah Burgess, sales and marketing director for Retirement Villages. “We are very keen to be involved in the community and build a strong, long-lasting relationship with our neighbours in Taunton and the surrounding area.”
Visitors to the flower show are invited to meet representatives of Retirement Villages at stand 21 in front of the floral marquee.
