Retirement Workshop at Lime Tree Village

28 Feb 2007

A Retirement Workshop, offering advice and information, is being staged at Lime Tree Village, the area’s only village exclusively for over 55s.

And an invitation to attend is being extended to anyone who is currently retired or planning for their retirement.

The afternoon workshop, at Lime Tree’s Edwardian mansion Cawston House, will feature presentations from independent financial advisors, Saga Holidays, the University of the Third Age and a health and a well-being expert from Warwickshire Primary Care Trust.

Subjects will include equity release, inheritance tax, activities, holidays and healthy lifestyle.

Property Sales and Marketing Director for Lime Tree Village’s developer Retirement Villages, Sarah Burgess, said: “As a retirement developer we are very aware of the issues and concerns facing people who are starting to think about their retirement, as well as those in the midst of it. The workshop will provide an invaluable opportunity to address many of the key questions facing this age group.”

The Retirement Workshop at Cawston House, Lime Tree Village, Dunchurch, near Rugby is being staged on Tuesday, March 6, from 2-4pm and will be followed by refreshments.

Saga Holidays will be inviting entries into a competition to win a four-day cruise.
