Ann Christina has a spacious two bedroom apartment with stunning views over well-tended gardens just outside Rugby. For five days a week she’s not around to enjoy any of that. She’s working 150 miles away in Kent.

“At the moment it’s costing me financially to commute between two homes,” said Ann. “But I look at it as insurance for my future. I know it’s a decision I can live with for a long time.”
