Supported Living

This is also referred to as close care, assisted living or fully serviced living. We often describe it as ‘hotel-style living’. Residents have the privacy and financial benefit of owning their own property with the luxury of knowing there are staff available to undertake some of the more onerous household tasks.

Domestic cleaning and laundry are taken care of. Meals are provided, either in residents’ own homes or in the restaurant. Further care can be arranged at an extra charge if necessary.

Of course, there are all the village facilities and social activities to join in too and village staff are always happy to help with booking taxis, arranging appointments or sharing local knowledge.

For some, supported living provides the ideal middle ground. They are able to retain their privacy behind their own front door while being able to enjoy their time as they see fit knowing help is at hand.

Every property is fitted with an emergency pull cord linked to a control centre 24 hours a day.

As well as giving residents security and peace of mind, supported living offers the same reassurance to families. They can be safe in the knowledge their loved one is living the life they choose while being taken care of when necessary.
