ABOUT THE VILLAGE

Blagdon Village is situated in the much sought-after Haines Hill area of Taunton. Its prominent location offers the best of both worlds - easy access to the centre of Taunton and, at the same time, views out over the beautiful Somerset countryside.

The village will comprise 85 independent living cottages, bungalows and apartments. As a resident, you will benefit from the freedom and financial security of private property ownership, but will be waving goodbye to some of its more onerous responsibilities.

Each property in the village is finished to a high standard including contemporary fitted kitchen, bathroom and en-suite shower room, living room, and, in a number, a separate dining room, as well as two or three bedrooms. Apartments benefit from an entry-phone system while all properties have movement sensors and emergency call systems. Broadband and modern telephone systems are also available.

The focal point of the village is the central clubhouse, including restaurant, bar and other facilities for residents to use as their own. There are no through roads on the development, thus minimising noise. A number of garages, as well as parking spaces, are available to residents. Domestic pets are also welcome.

A resident maintenance supervisor and support staff ensure the grounds are fully maintained and external property decoration and repair taken care of. A bed linen laundry service is provided and domestic cleaners visit each home for one hours cleaning every week. A range of additional services may be arranged on request.
