The Moat House residential care home has been extended and modernised over the years but originates from an 18th century rectory. The landscaped grounds give wide vistas over the lawns to the pasture meadow, or over the balustrade terrace to the ornamental lake, still fed by the original moat.

There are 22 bedroom units within the existing care home. A new 60-bed care home and 24 one and two bedroom extra care apartments will follow shortly.
