A new sales consultant has been appointed at Roseland Parc – recently declared Cornwall’s Best Retirement Village.

With six years experience in new homes, Melanie Shone is enjoying the challenge of her new role in the retirement sector with Roseland Parc’s owners Retirement Villages.

“This job isn’t about selling homes, it’s about selling a lifestyle and ensuring people are making the right long-term decisions,” said Melanie.

“Already the job satisfaction I am getting is wonderful. I see the process right through from the initial phone call to visiting them in their new home at Roseland Parc so I get to know clients really well.”

Melanie’s time is divided between Retirement Villages’ head office in Epsom and Roseland Parc, in the village of Tregony, near Truro, where she works closely with Village Manager Derek Pashley and his team.

“Roseland Parc is now complete and developing into a thriving community,” said Melanie, who lives in Ash, near Aldershot. “People can get a really good sense of what they’re buying into and it’s great to be a part of that.”

Roseland Parc was named Best Retirement Village in Cornwall by the Daily Mail in 2008. It boasts a range of independent living and fully-serviced apartments and a host of communal facilities including restaurant, fitness room, library and hair salon.
