A Cornish charity has benefited to the tune of £511.91 – thanks to Roseland Parc’s first craft fair.

The cash was raised through the sale of an array of crafts, refreshments and a raffle.

The money raised by residents, their guests and visitors, has been handed over to The Merlin Project which is aiming to build a Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Hewaswater near St Austell. The centre will be modelled on the 60 others The Merlin Project runs throughout the UK offering support for MS sufferers and their families and specialist equipment and treatment rooms.

“Everyone who attended had a lovely afternoon in the surroundings of Roseland Parc,” said Village Manager Derek Pashley. “We are thrilled to be continuing our support of the local community by raising so much money for such a worthwhile cause.”
