RESPITE CARE



Respite care provides temporary relief for primary carers. This service can be provided for varied periods of time and could help with a period of convalescence following an illness or a stay in hospital, in order to give a family or spouse a rest.

It could provide a temporary place of care while families take a holiday or need to take enforced leave. It provides a safe and secure alternative to care in the family home.

Respite care is available in a number of our villages including: Roseland Parc in Cornwall, Thamesfield at Henley on Thames, Gittisham Hill Park in Devon, The Moat House in Essex and The Minstrels in Lincolnshire.

Holiday respite stays are also available at our Roseland Parc and Gittisham Hill Park locations. These can be for a short break or a longer fortnightly or monthly stay. Single or double occupancy is available and people can choose to stay alone, give a carer a break, or bring a friend or loved one.
