THE MOAT HOUSE



The Moat House offers 24 hour nursing and residential care with basic dementia care available on site. A district nurse offers regular support when needed and local GPs are available.

Doctors visit regularly and are available at all times. Each individual resident will have a care plan drawn up to tailor his or her specific needs. This will be continually monitored and reviewed by the care manager and staff in consultation with the doctor and resident.

We also welcome the contribution of relatives, if this accords with the wishes of the resident. Should a resident require a higher level of nursing care, the services of the community nurses are available, and if necessary, these services can be arranged on a regular basis.

The Moat House can also provide respite care for those requiring extra support maybe when leaving hospital or when home carers aren’t available.
